Karla Goodale
Karla, owner and founding partner of Heine Goodale Law, has 20+ years of real estate experience in the Greater Boston area. Her time in real estate has afforded her the experiences of both the fall out of the real estate market crash of 2008 and the subsequent rebounding market.
Throughout Karla’s career, her primary focus has been elevating her clients’ total real estate experience. She joined a Massachusetts-based law firm as a full-time attorney in 2013. Her commitment to her clients and her dedication to real estate law awarded Karla the position of Partner in three short years. In 2022, Karla opened Heine Goodale Law creating a firm that provides a concierge level of service to her clients.
Her specialties are representing buyers, sellers, lenders, flippers, and real estate investors who buy, sell and hold property. Both residential and commercial clients can find a home at Heine Goodale Law.
Karla has gained a reputation for being a fierce advocate on behalf of her clients, protecting their interests, wants, and needs. Having her buyers and sellers feel empowered and educated in the process sets the stage for the ultimate goal of a stress-free and successful closing.
Fun fact: Before her real estate career, Karla was a chef.

Emery C. Markles
Emery has been practicing law for nearly a decade and has been working in real estate for over five years. He hails from the Worcester area and is a graduate of New England School of Law and Boston University. He is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, and he is a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Emery has a proven track record of success and attention to detail while handling a large workload in a fast-paced environment. He is cordial, courteous, professional, and responsive to client needs.
Fun Fact: Emery enjoys studying history and is a Classical and Medieval Studies enthusiast.

Caleb Tarver
Caleb brings enthusiasm, a thirst for knowledge, and a passion for real estate transactions, litigation, and small business law to the team at Heine Goodale Law. Originally from Texas, he now calls Boston home after settling down with his husband, their golden retriever, and two cats. Caleb brings a unique blend of Southern hospitality and New England resilience to his practice.
Caleb graduated Cum Laude from New England Law | Boston, where he also earned a Tax Law Certificate, showcasing his strong foundation in complex legal matters. He holds a B.S. in Political Science, with minors in Business Administration and Communication, from Texas A&M University. During law school, he gained valuable experience in real estate law and conveyancing through an internship with Attorney Karla Goodale. Post-graduation, Caleb honed his skills in tax and business law at KPMG.
Now rejoining Attorney Goodale as a full-time attorney, Caleb employs his knowledge and passion to handle real estate litigation, residential and commercial real estate transactions and leasing, and small business law. Caleb is dedicated to supporting a wide array of clients, ranging from first-time homebuyers and real estate investors to commercial entities, small businesses, brokers, and agents. He also shares his tax law expertise as an adjunct tax law professor at his alma mater.
Known for his dedication and willingness to take on challenges, Caleb is committed to ensuring his clients feel supported and confident. He strives to provide concierge-level service, helping his clients efficiently navigate the complexities of real estate transactions and legal disputes.
Fun Fact: Embracing their new home, Caleb and his husband discovered a love for the great outdoors during the COVID-19 pandemic, hiking over 250 miles all over New England with their golden retriever since the start of the lockdown.

Jessica Schofield
Jessica is a graduate of Westfield State University. She has been a real estate paralegal for over 10 years. At Heine Goodale Law she works closely with clients, lenders, and realtors, overseeing all aspects of the closing process. Ms. Schofield is detail-oriented and an effective communicator. She works diligently to make your transaction as smooth as possible.
Fun Fact: Jessica has driven to all the lower 48 states and visited 28 U.S. National Parks.
